CFO

An international company is currently looking for a CFO to endorse and manage the finance team. You will be working closely with the CEO and support company’s development.

As the CFO and a member of the Executive Committee, you are a key member of both the finance organization and the corporate group. You have oversight on the Financial Planning and Analysis. You interact continuously with different Business Units and functional groups to forecast and report. With your strong business acumen, your analytical skills and top-level communication skills, you provide guidance to ensure Profit Management in line with budgets and targets that maximize strategic decision making.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies concerning the financial policy, vision and strategy, in order to contribute to the realization of the organization’s objectives.

  • Take active role in continuously adding value by active analysis of business activities, personal presence on site and proactive formulation of improvements in business processes, projects and systems.

  • Summarize and Forecast of business activities in areas of income, expenses and earnings, based on past, present and expected operations.

  • Oversee and regulate corporate funds and provide guidance to ensure the Profit Management in line with yearly and budgets.

  • Report and present regularly to the President, related Executive Committee, Management Team and Corporate Functional Owner Finance about Financial status, target achievement and deviation analysis

  • Develop internal policies and processes in accordance to Corporate set Standards and Commercial Law requirements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of Finance related tasks

  • Guide local Finance Teams towards fulfilment of requested internal and external reports and to provide cross-functional support on departmental and cost center level about profitability related aspects.

  • Participate and Manage external Financial Audits with public accountants

  • Ensure compliance of finance, admin and business processes towards Corporate Standards

  • Build up a close team of highly qualified employees, and encourage the collaboration between team members and departments


 

Requirements

  • Master degree in Business Administration

  • More than 5 years’ experience in international industry environment in similar functions

  • Proven track record of success in Profit Management activities

  • Proven track record in a group finance consolidation environment

  • Strong communication skills: excellent capabilities to report and explain complex facts and circumstances towards pragmatic counter measurements

  • Professional understanding and acumen of Finance & Business aspects

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to provide cross-functional management orientation and direction; excellent intercultural competencies

  • Profound SAP experiences and Basic Technical Accounting

  • Fluent in both Dutch & English

  • High stress resistance
